The Process
For this project, the goal was to create a unique three dimensional piece. I experimented with a variety of flowers and landed on the ones that were the least detailed in order to create the flaps seen in the final piece. Circles were also added to the design so the light could shine completely through. The piece when on and off is the visual experience that I had hoped for and I experimented with two different layouts of lights to see how it effected the design.
