The Process
For this project, the tasked was to create a repeating pattern. As I enjoy travel, I wanted to create a pattern with the elements that are commonly associated with travel. After designing many variations of how elements would be laid out, I began to experiment with how the elements would interact together and create movement throughout the piece. In order to create movement, a dotted lined was added the interacts with the elements and pulls the viewers eye across the page.The color schemes also represent warm (red) and cool (blue) temperature places, as well as travel and airline companies who utilize these color schemes in their design.
